She has deep experience in advising multinational clients on all aspects of employment law ranging from drafting employment contracts to boardroom and executive disputes, and the labour and employment, real estate and data protection aspects of complex M&A transactions.

Savita regularly advises corporate clients on employment contracts, employees’ handbook, individual dismissals and collective redundancies, domestic enquiries, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, closure of business/undertaking, team moves and restrictive covenants, compromise agreement negotiations, non-competition clauses, severance plans, equity incentive plans, discrimination, business transfers, disability, domestic enquiry, working conditions, international posting/secondment, social security benefits, harassment, contract labour, trade union, etc. She has successfully conducted several compliance audits focusing on labour/employee statutes. She has also handled various employment related litigation and appeared before the labour courts and High Courts across India.

Savita has handled various complex dispute resolution matters and has appeared before various High Courts/ arbitrators. She has advised on laws pertaining to contract, damages, domestic and international arbitration, governing law, employment law, summary suit, winding up of company, debt recovery, execution of foreign decree, cross boarder insolvency, writs, etc.
She is actively involved in advising clients on issues pertaining to the data protection laws of India, including the latest Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. She has authored articles on the subject to prepare the clients on the compliance and policymaking expected from them.
Savita’s practice also involves a wide range of commercial real estate work including advisory with respect to townships, SEZs, and residential and commercial real estate projects. She has been regularly advising on the acquisition and disposal of property, restructuring and reorganization of businesses, negotiation of commercial leases, due diligence and preparation of title search reports, zoning and permitted usage of the properties, non-transferable lands allocated by the government and land affected by negative covenants, etc.
Savita has also been involved in advising and drafting various corporate and commercial contracts with third parties from agency, distribution, franchising, licensing and service provider agreements, settlement agreements and various other types of commercial agreements.
